For a more detailed explanation on how this site works…

Your digital camera works by turning a photograph into digital data using the binary system, which stores information in the form of 1’s and 0’s. Your camera has an internal storage space or utilizes a removable storage disk to hold these millions of 1’s and 0’s until your camera transfers the data to a computer, printer, or other viewing device. These devices have a program to “read” the 1’s and 0’s and are able to reconstruct the photograph using the binary system blueprint. The more information your camera can process and store (i.e. higher mega pixel rating), the more descriptive and detailed your pictures become. As a general rule of thumb, a camera using a 3 mega pixels is sufficient for printing a 24" X 36" picture. However, we recommend using your highest mega pixel setting for pictures made into our 24" by 36” posters.

Now that you have taken your photos, its time to upload to funwithpics.com! Simply connect your digital camera to your computer. Mostly people use a USB cable to connect to a port on the computer itself, or sometimes directly to the keyboard. If you are using a Windows based computer you can then access your digital camera by clicking on “My Computer.” Usually your camera will be labeled “removable disk.”

Simply use the upload function provided by our website to find and send the photos to our printing headquarters near Minneapolis, Minnesota. We own high quality Epson printing equipment utilizing the crème de la crème of inks called Ultrachrome that resists fading, even in direct sunlight! Make your gifts and memories last.

Once your files are received and payment is collected via safe and secure PAYPAL, we will begin processing your files and mail your posters via priority mail within 2 to 3 days. Actual time to receive will vary depending on shipping location.
